Description
At the time of the construction of the original Nauvoo Temple, the prophet Joseph Smith, Jr., the founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, commissioned the construction of a tomb for his family.
We know this through historical records and design drawings of the tomb by William Weeks, the architect of the Nauvoo Temple.
Because Joseph was never buried there, the location of the tomb has been clouded through time. The documentary seeks to uncover the possibilities of various locations while delving into the history of the church around the period just before and after the martyrdom.
