Volume 2 describes the Saints’ expulsion from Nauvoo, their challenges and trials through crossing the plains – and in gathering to the western United States and their efforts to settle Utah’s Wasatch Front. Through it all, this volume concludes with the historic dedication of the Salt Lake Temple.
