This extremely rare lithograph of the Nauvoo Temple hung in the lobby of the Nauvoo State Bank for over a century. It was recently discovered to be an original lithograph from the stone carving of W. Murphy dated 1886. Upon its removal from the bank during the rebuilding of the temple, a Nauvoo newspaper dated 1886 was found inside the frame’s backing.
