This beautiful sign depicts the mission of the Nauvoo Women’s Relief Society in 1842. The Red Brick store was the home of the foundation of the organization and to this day holds annual reenactments of the organization of the group. Emma Smith served as the first president of the Relief Society and today it’s the longest running Women’s organization in the world.
