Description

Since the work of a stone cutter was a skill much needed for the quarry not everyone was allowed to hammer on Temple stones in exchange for tithing. The risk of ruining stones was high. One of the few good paying jobs in Nauvoo was that of a skilled stone mason. The Nauvoo Temple was completed in 1846.

This piece is printed on high quality Acid Free Art Paper.
