Tooele Valley Utah Temple Site Announced:

The Church announced the location of the Tooele Valley Utah Temple. The temple, which was announced in April 2019 by President Russell M. Nelson, will be located northwest of the intersection of Erda Way and Highway 36 in Erda, Utah. Plans call for a three-story temple of approximately 70,000 square feet. An adjacent 20,000-square-foot meetinghouse will also be built. Full Story – click here

Church Donates to Suicide Prevention and Awareness Campaign:

Community, civic, and faith leaders gathered at the Utah State Capitol Monday to announce a public-private effort to fund a suicide prevention and awareness campaign. The Church’s donation of $150,000 to this suicide prevention campaign matches its previous donation to the governor’s suicide prevention fund in 2018. Full Story – click here

The first episode in the Book of Mormon Videos series of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is now available. Videos covering the first 138 pages of the Book of Mormon (1 Nephi to Enos) will continue to be released every Friday between now and the end of 2019. Full Story-click here

History of the Nauvoo Temple Star Windows:

The beautiful inverted stained glass star windows that adorn the top of the Nauvoo Temple have a very meaningful history dating back to the early Christian church. Known as the “Morning Star” in Rev 22:16 it is a symbol of Jesus Christ. When the actual Morning Star’s (Venus) orbit is tracked each morning it creates a mathematically perfect inverted five-point star. Full Story-click here
