Interfaith Concert Builds Bridges of Understanding and Peace

Sacred Music Evening: Many Faiths, One Family teaches attendees about other cultures and faiths in Salt Lake City

On Sunday, March 19, 2023, performers from a variety of religious backgrounds shared music and dances expressing their sacred beliefs. As an annual event, the Sacred Music Evening: Many Faiths, One Family is sponsored by the Salt Lake Interfaith Roundtable, which encourages mutual respect, understanding, appreciation and harmony in communities with diverse cultural and religious backgrounds.

This year the concert consisted of 10 groups performing pieces tied to Christian, Buddhist, Hindu, Jewish and Native American belief systems.
