Grab a cozy blanket, turn on some Christmas music and make up a batch of this decadent hot chocolate. Chocolate pudding in the mix makes this extra creamy. Once you try it you won’t want to go back to the store bought packets. You can even put some in Mason jars and give it away as a gift to a teacher, coworker, neighbor or friend to share the love!
Yield: 16 cups
Ingredients
-
11 cups powdered milk
-
1 cup powdered sugar
-
11 ounces powdered coffee creamer
-
2 lbs Nestle Nesquick powdered chocolate milk mix
-
4 tablespoons cocoa powder
-
4 ounces instant chocolate pudding mix (small box)
-
Marshmallow bits, chocolate chips, Andes peppermint baking chips – optional
Directions
-
In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients together with a large spoon.
-
To make a finer powder, put the mix minus marshmallow bites, chocolate chips or peppermint backing chips in a blender. Do this slowly, blending just one cup of powder at a time until it becomes a fine powder. If you put too much powder in the blender, it will not easily blend.
-
Pour the mixture in an airtight container with the marshmallow bits and baking chips on top.
-
When making a cup of hot chocolate, use about 1/3 of a cup of powder per cup of water, or adjust to your liking.
-
Top with Marshmallow bits, chocolate chips, Andes peppermint baking chips, whipped cream, etc.
